Listening to the news or just looking around at the kids on a playground shows us the significant increase in weight that is mostly caused by eating an excessive amount of processed, refined, junk, packaged and fast food. These foods are void of nutrients and contain harmful fats, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours, the main culprits responsible for weight gain. The risk of burgeoning disease pathologies are greatly increased when a poor diet is consumed on a regular basis due to the lack of essential nutrients.
This unhealthy type of diet was not an option for children a few generations ago and earlier. There were far fewer cases of weight problems, ADHD, diabetes, psychological and neurological disorders, and the list goes on.

Being that adequate physical activity is also recommended and an important part of health and well being, I can also create and include a physical fitness schedule suitable for children.

The female body from the early teens and onward up until post menopause goes through monthly hormonal changes that often contribute to many undesirable symptoms. These are largely due to lack of paying attention to the body, mind and spirit connection of the female gender. Adequate nutrition, rest, exercise, and taking time out for herself will make the world of difference to all women. This is also an art that seems to be lost by many over the years, as today’s world and place for most women has changed considerably.

On the other hand, are the countless healthful food choices out there in health food stores, farmers markets, and increasingly available in you local grocery store. During nutritional consulting sessions you will learn about these foods, and the wonders they can do for the body. You will also learn the ways in which to increase metabolism and about foods and eating habits that encourage weight loss (or weight gain if necessary). The focus will be quality as well as quantity.
