How is cosmetic dentistry different in Canada than elsewhere?

In Canada, cosmetic dentistry is practised by every general dentist, so in reality every general dentist is a cosmetic dentist. However, most practices, big and small, are very busy recovering from a limited access to dentistry during the early COVID days.

Today’s dental patient expects that all their dental care will be cosmetically enhancing and esthetically pleasing, and rightfully so. A focus on oral health is a big component of any esthetically-driven dental practice.

How have you seen this field of dentistry change due to COVID-19? In what way?

We faced many challenges due to the pandemic. We took the advice with the guidelines that were given, and our patients and staff were our top priority.
