An all-natural digestive aid made with organic plants and nothing else eases pain and relieves gas.

Most people have certain foods that trigger bloating and indigestion. For some it may be grains, while for others it could be certain vegetables or sugar. No matter what it is, it’s likely to occur during the holiday season. With holiday parties and special family dinners, the variety and — let’s face it — overeating may lead to uncomfortable gastrointestinal symptoms.

Bye Bye Bloating helps relieve gas and bloating due to certain foods or a large meal or digestive upset due to stress. It can also help relieve motion sickness or nausea. With organic ginger, peppermint, and fennel, Bye Bye Bloating is made from only organic plants and nothing else. Bye Bye Bloating is vegan, with no fillers or synthetics or genetically-modified organisms, and doesn’t cause the side effects often experienced with over-the-counter digestive aids.

Carminatives stimulate the digestive system by coordinating and regulating gut contractions. They soothe and settle the gut wall, easing pain and helping with the removal of gas from the digestive tract.

Plants provide natural relief for gastrointestinal upset

Monica Ruffo, founder of Well Told Health, the company behind Bye Bye Bloating, says the reason it works is the plants. “Only plants can act as natural carminatives,” she says. “Carminatives stimulate the digestive system by coordinating and regulating gut contractions. They soothe and settle the gut wall, easing pain and helping with the removal of gas from the digestive tract.”

“Carminatives are an effective, widely-studied natural remedy that offers immediate results,” adds Kylie McGregor, a holistic nutritionist.

Ruffo founded Well Told Health after she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. After undergoing successful treatment, Ruffo looked for natural products to support her continued well-being. “I found that many natural health products aren’t natural at all,” she says. “They’re riddled with synthetics, fillers, and isolates, and most consumers have no idea what they’re putting into their bodies or even why.”

Wanting to better understand natural health products, Ruffo completed a certificate in plant-based nutrition at Cornell University and created Well Told Health. The company’s products are now available in more than 2,000 stores across Canada.

Packaging made with sustainable materials

Well Told Health is science-based and provides complete transparency about every ingredient, supplying a full ingredient list for each product and links to the scientific research available on each one. Along with its approach to sustainable health, the company follows sustainable production practices. All packaging is made from recycled paper and is printed with water-based inks. Everything is recyclable including the caps and bottles, which are BPA-free.

“I created a company that I wished had been around when I was doing everything I could to reinforce my own health and turn things around,” Ruffo says. “Information on products was so hard to decipher, and there’s such a lack of transparency in this industry. I created Well Told Health as much for myself and the people I love as for everyone else.”
